D’Amblè Sauvignon

Grape variety: Sauvignon.

Grapes origin: Cappelletto, in Treiso (450/500 meters above sea level).

East facing, with Guyot pruning.

Strains / Ha: 4500.

Yield / HA: 60-70 q / Ha.

Planting year: 1999.

After pressing the whole grapes, the first and best must is left to ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

The wine is refined on its lees for 10 months with repeated batonage on a weekly basis. After bottling, the wine ages 6-8 months in the bottle before being put on the market

The Sauvignon vineyards are located in the municipality of Treiso, Rocca parcel, and in the municipality of Trezzo Tinella, where, in the coolest and north-east exposed part, we have planted French clone sauvignon.
