
Barbaresco Montersino Docg
Ours is among the most noble Me.GA, already indicated as a “position of particular value” by Lorenzo Fantini in his “Monographs on viticulture and enology in the province of Cuneo” (1879). Full-bodied are produced here, with fine and silky tannins, easy to drink and joyful.
Grape variety: Nebbiolo, Lampia sub-variety
Grapes origin: Montersino vineyard in Treiso (300/350 m asl).
South facing, with Guyot pruning (9-10 buds / vine)

Quantity of grapes / HA: 45-50 q / Ha
Planting year: 1970
Soft pressing, maceration with the skins for about 20-25 days at a maximum temperature of 30 ° C.
After racking, the wine is racked into barriques and tonneaux where it ages for 12-15 months with a percentage of 15% of new woods. Subsequently the wine refines for at least 12 months in the bottle before being marketed.
